GameChanger is a DICK'S Sporting Goods sportstech company. The company’s mission is to serve youth sports communities with the highest quality game coverage. Through my consultancy work, I develop and coordinate the company’s overall communications strategy to raise awareness of their product within their target audience of coaches, parents, and youth athletes across baseball, softball, basketball, soccer. Sameer Ahuja, has been nominated for Technology Executive of the Year at the 2023 Sports Business Awards. The award focuses on nominating, “those who propelled the sports industry forward in 2022 through technological innovation” and includes executives from Amazon, Golden State Warriors, FIFA, NHL and MLS.
GameChanger, a youth sports app for live streaming, scheduling and communications, reached a partnership with The National Basketball Academy, one of the nation’s largest travel basketball programs.

GameChanger, a youth sports team management app owned by Dick’s Sporting Goods, is enhancing its live-streaming capabilities through a new partnership with Mevo, a camera brand owned by Logitech. The app will now sync with Mevo’s HD cameras to broadcast youth sports in higher quality.
Youth sports streaming and team management app GameChanger has expanded its scorekeeping functionality to seven new sports. The capability was already live in baseball, softball and basketball, but now can support football, soccer, ice hockey, field hockey, lacrosse, rugby and water polo.

GameChanger, a New York-based technology company active in youth sports, has made sizable expansion into basketball with a new partnership with Point Guard College (PGC) Basketball, an influential coaching, leadership, and player development organization.
But how many miles and hours are you actually logging every year? Gamechanger wanted to find out, so it logged data from 550,000 teams (excluding 2020, due to the pandemic) in order to discover how intense the life of club baseball and softball parents really is.
The average youth sport team travels about 1,200 miles a year for games and tournaments, based on an analysis of more than 550,000 teams nationwide that used GameChanger — an app for managing youth sports teams — from 2017 to 2019.
"She's our scorekeeper, and she does scorekeeping on GameChanger which gives live updates for parents when they aren't here. She keeps the boys in line in the dugout as well," says Owen.
